I do not do what I love. However, I have just started to try and make it a home business (trading / selling Sports Memorabilia). I still have the day job that I don't love, but who knows, maybe someday I will.

I do both. I have a part time job that pays the bills and on my free time I do what I love. It's a nice balance. It also helps that I have a spouse that helps encourage this.
Yes, I do what I love because I write for a living--something I've done for years, but now get paid do to so!

I like what I do well enough and I think I'm compensated fairly, but I am always keeping my eye out for that perfect job.
I love the fact that I serve my country, but the danger that is involved is unnerving at times. Still, it's worth it.
It's find something that can hold your interest for years. I love pizza but I don't want to make pizza for a living. However, programming holds my interest so I make software for a living.
I work my job to pay the bills. I think a lot of people are in the same category in today's world.

I am a author and I love to write, unfortunately it doesn't pay the bills and I have to work to help pay the bills. I would love to work from home and spend more time with my husband and children.
I can't do what I love-- or should I say, I sort of choose not to do what I love because of how other people might think/feel about it. I've always lived my life for others, which is quite good but sometimes I keep on thinking, WHAT IF I die today, is it worthit? I've always wanted to be a teacher of kids, but since the compensation is not so good, I continued my IT career, which in the first place I didn't even chose before going to college.
Yes, I do what I love, unfortunatly I don't get paid for doing what I love. Actually I believe it would be illegal in most states to get paid for doing what I love. I do however get paid for doing something that I like most of the time.
I've never "loved" what I do, but I certainly haven't minded it. You do what you gotta do to get money and pay for things that WILL make you happy, pure and simple. There's nothing wrong with not *loving* what you do, as long as it isn't torturous.
I work in an office in the middle of an overgrown Christmas tree farm. Since I really don't have a lot of work to do (no stress) I am able to do what I love; I watch the birds and try to identify them, I've watched deer outside my window, and squirrels as big as my cat. Sometimes it is a great job.
I'm in that predicament as we speak. I need to find a job, but I don't want one that is just in order to pay the bills. I want to enjoy it. But no job available is in that area. It is tough to have everything work out right.
I could make more if I went out and got a "regular" job and I have skills in admin. work but I am a realtor now and I do it becuase I love it even though some months it doesn't pay the bills. There are more important things in life and you can't buy happy.
I think that most people do not "love" their job. If you do, you are very lucky!
Even though I am still a student, I am currently working as a receptionist at dentist office and I feel that my job is so fulfilling because I get to meet so many different people every day and help them get their teeth fixed :D
Sometimes I love my job. Sometimes I don't. What I enjoy more than the job is the people I work with, so even though I may not always get enjoyment from the work that I do, the people I work with make my job more enjoyable than it normally would have been. I veiw my job mainly as a means to an end. It's a means to pay bills. Any enjoyment I gain from it is icing on the cake.
Right now, I'm working just for money, but I hope to change that soon.
I would love what I do more if I didn't HAVE to do it.
I think, like everyone, my job occasionally frustrates me and I find myself thinking that I would be happier doing something else. And, there are times that I feel like I'm 'living to work' rather than 'working to live'. Luckily, those times occur infrequently.
I do love my work. I'm a project manager in an IT software house.
It may not let me sleep, it make's me drink a lot of coffee, get angry with a lot of people.. however I get to work with people rather than machines. Precious!
I feel lucky because I love my 3 things. My Home, My work and My hobbie :)
I love what i do! I work with Cultural Care Au Pair. I find families who desire affordable live-in child care.
Helping one family at a time and getting women back in the work place after child birth!
I don't really love what I do, but it gives me a bit of disposable income. That's OK, I guess. I need to spend money too.
