Do you do what you love?

In either your day job, or an after hours job, are you able do make money doing what you love?

Do you love what you do, or do you work you job for the money to pay the bills.

Do What I Love

I work in an office in the middle of an overgrown Christmas tree farm. Since I really don't have a lot of work to do (no stress) I am able to do what I love; I watch the birds and try to identify them, I've watched deer outside my window, and squirrels as big as my cat. Sometimes it is a great job.

Want to Do What I Love

I'm in that predicament as we speak. I need to find a job, but I don't want one that is just in order to pay the bills. I want to enjoy it. But no job available is in that area. It is tough to have everything work out right.

Love what I do

I could make more if I went out and got a "regular" job and I have skills in admin. work but I am a realtor now and I do it becuase I love it even though some months it doesn't pay the bills. There are more important things in life and you can't buy happy.

I think that most people do

I think that most people do not "love" their job. If you do, you are very lucky!

I love what I do

Even though I am still a student, I am currently working as a receptionist at dentist office and I feel that my job is so fulfilling because I get to meet so many different people every day and help them get their teeth fixed :D

All the time somebody loves their job sometimes

Sometimes I love my job. Sometimes I don't. What I enjoy more than the job is the people I work with, so even though I may not always get enjoyment from the work that I do, the people I work with make my job more enjoyable than it normally would have been. I veiw my job mainly as a means to an end. It's a means to pay bills. Any enjoyment I gain from it is icing on the cake.

no, but I'm working on it

Right now, I'm working just for money, but I hope to change that soon.

If I didn't have to

I would love what I do more if I didn't HAVE to do it.

For the Most Part

I think, like everyone, my job occasionally frustrates me and I find myself thinking that I would be happier doing something else. And, there are times that I feel like I'm 'living to work' rather than 'working to live'. Luckily, those times occur infrequently.

Yeap I do

I do love my work. I'm a project manager in an IT software house.

It may not let me sleep, it make's me drink a lot of coffee, get angry with a lot of people.. however I get to work with people rather than machines. Precious!

I love my work

I feel lucky because I love my 3 things. My Home, My work and My hobbie :)

I love WHat I do

I love what i do! I work with Cultural Care Au Pair. I find families who desire affordable live-in child care.

Helping one family at a time and getting women back in the work place after child birth!

I love what I do.

I sell books on line to make money

not especially

I don't really love what I do, but it gives me a bit of disposable income. That's OK, I guess. I need to spend money too.

do you like what y do

i bielieve that a man must love his job to do better it not a matter of money but bloving what we do

No I don't

I have to work to pay my rent. That's it. No love involved. I wish it was different.

No I Don't

I used to strenght more than using my brain. I have to dealt with people who does not do their job and having to clean after them. My paid is less than I should be giving. I would have said no i do not like what i am doing, although I am trying something new that I will eventually like.

Kids are great

I do have a job I love! I work with kids in a daycare setting part-time (full-time probably would not be as much fun!) The kids are so much fun to play with and talk to. I have worked there for about two years so I have the opportunity to watch them grow up. I watch them learning to walk and say their first words. They say such funny things.

Yes I do

I love what I do..It's not fully enough to cover my bills..but its a job I love, its better to have a job you love rather than to have a job you hate.

I agree

I agree that when considering a home business you have to do wh at you in order to suceed. If you do not like the product or service that you are selling you will not be able to sell the product!!

Do you do what you love?

Yes the business i am doing is something i trained for that is poultry farming and i love my work

I love what I do during the

I love what I do during the day, however, it does not pay the bills yet. I work extra jobs in order to survive on, but I wouldn't change anything about my life yet. Since it provides so much personal satisfaction I can handle the grunt work.

I think it's great that you

I think it's great that you have found something that you love, and have a hobby that will make you money! I hope to find something that I love very soon, and that I can be financially dependent on.

Just going through the motions

I am not really able to make money doing what I love. I have a "real" job which pays the bills and brings me no sense of enjoyment or fulfillment. Basically, I am just showing up to work everyday and punching the proverbial time clock. I also have the chance, when I am at home, to work on my writing, which is what I truly love. However, it definitely does not generate enough income to pay the bills, at least not right now, so I'm stuck going the more traditional work route.

I Love It!

I have always loved crafts and interior design. Now I'm a accredited staging professional. I help people stage their homes so it shows like a model home so it sells faster and for top dollar. I love my job!

not a fan

I do not love my job, it's taken me quite some time to figure out what route i would like to take in life, but i know i would like to love my job and not be miserable as most people are with their jobs.

Don't Love it, I need it

I pretty much hate what I do for a living but I am married with 2 kids so I do what I have to do. I would love to work from home in some manner but have yet to find a viable option that allows me the flexiblity to take care of my young children and to make the income I need.

My job is not what I love,

My job is not what I love, but for sure I would love to do something that I like. A person is always more interested & enthusiastic for doing something which he loves.

Enjoying

Its always good to have a job that allows you to do what you do. More than the wages, I feel it is about doing what you enjoy.

Sometimes I do

I love my work but working to fill someone elses pocket sucks. I want to do it for myself!

do what you love

I'm leaving a high paying IT job with a company that I've worked for for 24 years. I tired of making them rich and not feeling appreciated.
I switching careers and becoming a teacher. I love kids and I love reading and learning.
I'll make about half of what I make now, but I will finally be happy and feel appreciated!

Love my job

I love my job but the wages don't correspond with the enthusiasm and the only one making ends meet is the boss I work for.

doing what you love

My primary job outside of the home is good most days but it is disheartening to hold someones life in your hand and then doing something much simpiler is paying more! I enjoy it though. My other job is doing something I love but it seems I have l ittle to no energy left to do it!

Job Love

My full time job I love, if only because I work with people. In my after hours job, I absolutely love it. The second job is my passion and would love to find a way to make it a full time job. It is in the music industry and I help people bring in concerts to their venue. In both jobs, I help people, and that is wonderful.

I do what I love.

I do what I love.

I don't really love what I

I don't really love what I do, but I get to work from home so that is a huge plus for me.
